Taiwan January 2018 Tour Flyer
Moe Chee in Taiwan, January 2018
I’m very excited to be returning to Taiwan in January to join Chun-liang for a new series of Moe Chee performances.
- Friday 12 January 2018 – Little Play, Taichung, Taiwan.
- Saturday 13 January 2018 – Ting Shuo, Tainan, Taiwan.
- Sunday 14 January 2018 – Kaohsiung, Taiwan (details to come)
- Friday 19 January 2018 – Jiang Shan Yi Gai Suo, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
We met up again briefly in Tokyo in November, and I was very pleased to find that fell into our old collaborative working patterns very easily. We performed at a venue in Tokyo, and also spent the day filming around the city, which we used in part for projections during the performance, and which we may do something more with in future.
Our album Be It Hot, Humid Or Ghostly Cold is very close to being ready, and we are hopeful we will have copies for our Taiwan tour (it was all recorded the last time I was in Taiwan in 2015, except for one track). The CDs are done (see image above) for a limited edition of 50, with covers currently being finished by Australian artist, Anna Dusk. Each cover is unique, handmade by Anna and featuring a different image from her own work. The album will also be available digitally. Here is a preview track:
